LAKESIDE CEDAR LODGE

The beautiful forty acre lake that will act as a backdrop for your wedding was the original water source for Cherryvale, Kansas. In time, the spacious and unique lodge that nestles up to its banks was built as the club house for a local golf course. The pergola overlooking the lake was added to provide a romantic nest where countless knots have been tied and promises made. My husband Tim and I found this amazing site after years of looking for a retirement property. We fell in love with Lakeside Cedar Lodge’s magical union of natural beauty and modern conveniences. While spending time with the recent owners we quickly realized its use as a wedding venue was too important to let go. We knew this was a place where dreams should come to life.

Brides have framed the main hall, the expansive decks and all other common areas in their own visions. Some were married in front of the fireplace while others have professed their love and commitment under the pergola near the lake. Regardless of individual choices, their cherished memories will always include the uniqueness and enchantment of Lakeside Cedar Lodge.
